The Fuji SL 2.1 Disc Road Bike – 2017 is a versatile bike – it is a light, stiff, and race-ready ride that features the improved stopping power and control of disc brakes. The Fuji SL 2.1 Disc is built around a full monocoque C10 carbon fiber frame that is lively on the climbs, while giving you confidence-inspiring handling and control on the descents. A PF30 bottom bracket and tapered headtube increase rigidity, while the thin seatstays improve compliance for comfort. The frame and FC-440 full carbon fork both feature 12mm thru-axles (the rear are convertible to QR) and flat mount disc tabs.
Drivetrain and stopping duties are handled by Shimano, with their excellent Ultegra 6800 11-speed derailleurs and innovative 4-arm crank, paired to non-series Shimano RS685 hydraulic disc STI levers. Oval Concepts supplies the 527 disc wheels with a nice wide rim and 6-bolt disc hubs, shod with Vittoria Rubino Pro 700x25mm tires keep you connected to the road. All in all it’s a great-looking package, packed with the latest in road cycling technology.
