When did you start with Performance?

I’ve worked for Performance for 14 years.

How did you get started in cycling ?

At age 8, I enjoyed riding my friend’s bike around her driveway more than the 3 equesterian-related injuries I’d had by then!

How long have you been cycling ?

42 years.

What’s your favorite type of riding?

I like everything but downhill, recumbent, long distance touring and unicycle.

Any racing experience?

Mostly triathlons, but I did a crit amd a cross race (but once was enough).

Favorite place to ride?

Anywhere in the Shenandoah Valley.

What’s your favorite aspect of working in a bicycle store?

I get paid to help friends enjoy my favorite sport.

Dream place to ride?

The countryside of Provence or Tuscany.

Any cycling goals? Something you are working toward?

We want to take our 9 year old on Rails-to-Trails across Virginia.

Any hobbies outside of cyling?

I enjoy reading about History and Geography.
